Tiruchy, 2015 Jul 10 The fifth batch of Sri Lankan Refugee Skill training has been completed and the Graduation Day was organized on 5th July 2015 at Don Bosco, Thanjaur. About 840 Sri Lankan Tamil refugee beneficiaries (both skill training and women welfare club beneficiaries) and 53 Staff members participated. Fr. Albert Johnson, sdb., the Provincial of Don Bosco Trichy province presided over the function at which Mr. Neil Holland from the Salesian Missions, New Rochelle, USA and Mr.Satchithananda Valan Michael the Associate Repatriation Officer, UNHCR India were present as special Guests. At Don Bosco Kurla, an International Conference ``Technologies for Sustainable Development`` on a significantly large scale was held from 4-6 February, 2015 befitting the 50th Anniversary of the Campus at Kurla and also the Bicentenary of the birth of its founder Don Bosco.
